Changes at home. 2021 season. Second part.
At the blog post fifteen days ago, we already told you that we had made quite a few changes at home in recent months. In that post we told you about the improvements that were part of the home, and today we move on to the outdoors. The good weather is already here, and enjoying Villa Bella Estança in the garden is an absolute pleasure. Are you ready to find out what we’ve done best for you? Let’s start!
Painted facade.
The house is over 50 years old, and has obviously undergone many renovations. It’s been over 12 years now that I haven’t painted the outside, and this past month is one of the improvements we’ve made. We combined two tons. One like the one that already existed and another of a clearer one. We really like it!
Garden Wall
As you know from other publications, in September 2020 we renovated the garden wall. Now, to complete the task, we have removed all the plants that were in that area, making the garden look cleaner, look bigger and easier to maintain, also saving us some mosquitoes and other insects that could accumulate in it. We have replaced the sand with white stones, which provide breadth. We show you two photos of how it was before and how it is now. We think we have gained a lot. What do you think?
Wooden floor
If you’ve seen photos, it’s been a while since a part of the garden has wooden flooring. The table area and the swing have been on the surface for a long time, and since we are very comfortable with it, we have expanded this area a bit. However, we continue to take great care and value having so much space with grass, as we believe it is a beautiful touch that we do not want to give up.
Flowers and plants
As you know, plants and flowers, like many of the corners of our garden, are in constant care and renewal. This spring we made the flowers fill the outside of Villa bella Estança, and here are some of them.
For today, that’s all. We have exposed most of the improvements to you. We want your stay here to be perfect, which is why we spend so many hours taking care of all the details.
